Frequently Asked Questions
Is your service free?
Our introduction call is for free. We take this time to learn about your needs and try our best to empower you to continue your journey from there onwards. In many cases, it can be overwhelming and complex and if you, the customer, prefer that we guide you and take over each process, this is paid for. Our rates are extremely competitive as we believe that cost alone shouldn't be the biggest barrier in moving to another country.
What does the onboarding call consist of?
The onboarding call is a free introduction call to figure out which route or steps you need to take going forward. We normally offer a brief roadmap with steps to follow; however, some cases are more complex and that is when we get a specialist to either spend 30 minutes on a call with you or, if you prefer, take over the entire visa or residency case. You have complete control over the process and we are extremely transparent with any service we may charge for way upfront.
How long does the qualification recognition process take?
The processing time varies by country and qualification type. After we submit your documents, authorities typically take 4-12 weeks to process the application. We'll keep you updated throughout the process and follow up with authorities when necessary.
What documents will I need to provide?
You'll typically need your original degree certificates, transcripts, professional licenses, CV/resume, and sometimes course descriptions. During our initial consultation, we'll provide you with a personalized document checklist based on your specific qualifications and target country.
What if my qualification isn't recognized?
If your qualification isn't fully recognized, we'll advise you on alternative pathways, such as partial recognition with additional training, alternative visa categories, or comparable qualifications that might be accepted. Our goal is to find a solution that works for your specific situation.
Is qualification recognition always necessary for a work visa?
It depends on your profession and the country. For regulated professions (healthcare, law, teaching, etc.) and for many academic positions, recognition is mandatory. For some IT and creative roles, practical experience may be sufficient. We'll advise you on whether recognition is necessary for your specific case.
